Announcing 2nd Annual Massachusetts Game Challenge! |
12/02/2008 |
Calling all collegiate game developers! Make a video game and win some hefty cash prizes with the return of 38 Studios’ annual game development competition, the Massachusetts Game Challenge. It’s pretty much the greatest thing ever to happen to an aspiring game developer. This year’s contest has expanded beyond New England to include qualifying schools from the entire US and Canada. Groups of up to three currently enrolled college students have until March 2, 2009 to create and submit the most amazing video game ever, starring our fun-loving mascot, Munch and/or his evil alter ego, Mean Munch. Members of the first place team receive $1,500 each (second place and third place winners don't do poorly, either)! Think you're up to the challenge? Then head over to 38Studios.com/MGC for your entry form, official rules and regulations, and a complete list of Frequently Asked Questions, as well as the results of 2008’s inaugural Massachusetts Game Challenge. You can even play last year’s first- and second-place entries, Munch’s Vacation and Infectious Munch! Best of luck to all who enter! |
