Would you like to become part of the team that includes the creative visionaries behind Drizzt Do'Urden and Spawn? 38 Studios is currently seeking an experienced web developer to join our Web Services department. The web developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing internal and external web applications as well as helping design and implement new website projects. This is a full-time time position with competitive salary, full benefits and 401k, and the chance to be part of MMOG history!

Responsibilities:

• Updating content on the various 38 Studios web sites.
• Support and maintain current internal and external web applications.
• Help create and support exciting new web applications using new web technologies.

Basic Position Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years web development using HTML and at least one scripting language (Perl, PHP, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, etc.).
• Experience with web design tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver or equivalents.
• Experience with a relational database backend such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Graphics Design or related fields or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Skills/Abilities:

• The ideal candidate is self-directed and creative, able to conceive and implement innovative and attractive web designs.
• Familiarity with the design and operation of mobile applications.
• Excellent written and verbal skills and comfort with presenting to small to medium-sized groups.
• Passion for gaming is a plus.
